Our Mission

Intercity Food & Nutrition Program works to eradicate food insecurity, improve health outcomes, and provide resources to the Houston Metropolitan Area.

What We Do

Intercity Food & Nutrition Program primary goal is to help end hunger, identify and address food shortage at root causes using a number of different programs, providing additional, healthy food to individuals who experience immense difficulty feeding themselves or their families.

Intercity Food & Nutrition Program is committed to staying on the frontlines of putting an end to hunger on a daily basis by using it’s food distributions, food pantry for seniors, learning programs for healthier food options and  emergency/disaster food services.

Although, fighting food insecurities is first priority, through various partnerships IFNP provides numerous resources for families.

Summer Meals
(school meals)

School’s out for summer! For many children in Houston Metropolitan Area participate in free or reduced-priced breakfast and lunch programs, summer means one thing: hunger. IntercityFNP partners with the Houston Food Bank to provide free breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack to any child age 18 and under on location. Kids do not have to be enrolled in school or a program to receive a meal. No form of ID is required.

Intercity Food & Nutrition Program is committed to serving families in need and our unsheltered friends throughout the Houston community. Every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, we host a contactless drive-thru food and supplies distribution for the Houston community.

Supplies will be distributed one (1) unit per car.

Every 3rd Saturday of the Month
Time: 10am – 1 pm
